What we treat

Post-surgery rehab

Surgery is only the start. The rehab that follows decides how well you get back to work, life and sport, and it is where our gyms make the biggest difference.

Post-surgery rehab

Explained

What does rehab after surgery involve?

After an operation, rehab restores movement, rebuilds strength and gets you confident again. We work within any guidance your surgeon gives you and progress you with objective testing.

Being in fully equipped gyms means we can take you from early exercises right through to running, lifting and sport.

Operations we see

  • ACL reconstruction and other knee surgery
  • Hip and knee replacements
  • Shoulder surgery, including rotator cuff repair
  • Ankle and Achilles surgery
  • Spinal surgery

What rehab works on

  • Stiffness and loss of movement
  • Weakness and muscle loss
  • Swelling
  • Low confidence using the limb
  • Not sure when it is safe to return to sport

Recovering from major shoulder surgery Andreas is exceptional both in his knowledge and approach to recovering. He very much catered to my needs and previous level of activity rather than a generic approach
