How we work with runners
- 1
Running analysis
A biomechanical assessment on the treadmill, with video gait analysis. We look at your gait and technique, cadence and stride, joint loading, and control at the pelvis, hip, knee and ankle.
- 2
Strength testing
Handheld dynamometers measure your strength so we know exactly what to build.
- 3
Gym-based rehab
Progressive strength and conditioning, plyometrics and return-to-impact training in our fully equipped gyms, plus hands-on treatment where it helps.
- 4
Supervised return to run
A structured plan back to your normal running, with advice on load and injury prevention.
Your physio
Who you will see
Andreas sees runners at our Surbiton clinic. Hollie and Glenn see runners in Surbiton and Kingston, and Rose in Kingston. Hollie is a keen runner who has completed the London Marathon, Glenn is a former international sprint hurdler with a focus on lower limb biomechanics and plyometrics, and Rose is a competitive runner with a 1:22 half marathon and a special interest in running injuries.
Coming from a competitive sport background, Glenn has got me back to competing in triathlon and lifting weights again after just 10 weeks.
